never b another -- and props n pounds

Listen to the first 5 seconds of "props n pounds" and the first five seconds of "never b another." They are the exact same intro. Both lame and forewarning of a crappy song. I'm sure this has been pointed out elsewhere

They are not the same.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Oh my gosh eek. The man who has written over 1000 songs has two songs with a similar introduction. Man, I feel so cheated right now!

damn - why's everyone gotta assume I was making some value judgment on the man for the similarity - I was just pointing it out....it's a little dorky, but not malicious. This is a "prince: music and more" forum isn't it?

OMG!!!!! Props n pounds - a crappy song? It may not be in many people's top 5 but it's not a BAD song - from a decent, funky album.

I could think of a lot worse!
then we'll try to imagine... what silence looks like

Well I actually LIKE Props & Pounds, so razz .

Jukebox with a Heartbeat, on the other hand, reminds me somewhat of a pile of smouldering dog poo! They can't all be masterpieces!
