I like most of the albums he's put out, but I'm not required to like anything just because sensitive fans on here can't accept an opinion to the contrary.

I never gave Prince any advice. I just listened to the music he released and gave a sincere opinion. I also have no particular past era that I want Prince to return to. I just want music that I enjoy.

This really is one of the most hostile forums I've ever been on. It's like an Orwellian society.

After 11 years of hearing slow jam singles, weak attempts of pop radio friendly AOR songs, "James Brown lite" crap and formulatic drum programming, these new songs are refreshing.

I liked Musicology, loved N.E.W.S. and dug the Rainbow Children. The music on those CD's are tight and organic. It also sounds like real instruments are being played (Fender Rhodes, Wurlitzer, real bass, real guitars, etc).

I hope the rest of "Lotus" is in that tradition. We'll see.
