This song rocks. I can't help that other folks dislike it. This song rocks.
It's a mercurial song that reflects its artist's personality and wit. The lyrics are throwaway, at best. For me, the musicianship makes up for the subpar lyrics. Prince is doing some straight-up Hendrix by way of Ravi Shankar and Rhonda Smith is playing oh so wonderfully. Some of the best bass work ever on a Prince cut, in my opinion. Classic.

No it is not. Graffiti Bridge is Prince's worst song. Always has been, always will be.
OK, technically, this isn't true... GB was released in 90, so there must have been a 'worst' Prince song before that because it hadn't been released... but you know what I mean... even in comparison to 'Free' (Prince's worse song since 1982) GB is horribly horrible. Animal Kingdom has a loveliness about it I smile and enjoy. From the cringe-worthy drum-roll GB is nauseous.

people don't want to even question that beacuse they love their meat so much and believe themselves to be "good" people. I love that prince challenges people with the song. And I'll eat a steak in a minute. People rather not face all the death they are a party too. For the record, I've been a vegetarian for 13 years, and vegan for about 7. WORST SONG EVER. I repeat: "funky funky blue cheese" + dolphin noises. When that song came out, I had some vegan friends who would ask me to play it every time they came over, so that we could laugh our vegan asses off. "Funky funky blue cheese" was a running joke. "What's 'non-sequitur' mean? Do I look it up in a Fag-to-English dictionary?"

Gawd, I just listened to it for the first time in a long time.
What was he THINKING?! Does he have nobody in his life who cares enough to pull him aside and be like, "look, dude, dontcha think the dolphin noises might put a little tarnish on your genius plating? Fer reals." Unnnnbelievable. "What's 'non-sequitur' mean? Do I look it up in a Fag-to-English dictionary?"

Well Im a vegetarian and I think Trickys comments are probably true for a good portion of the songs haters (at least those who hate it for its lyrics). As for the dolphin noises, thats part of what makes it great. Most all of P's songs where he's completely uninhibited are refreshing because most artists don't have the balls to be completely themselves. So what if it makes for tracks you're less likely to play around company.. For me, P has a bunch of songs like that, but they're tunes I'll listen to forever in the privacy of my ipod. Change it one more time..

his wife was a vegetarian at the time, thats why he became one and decided that we he should justify it in a song, I doubt that he is a vegetarian now that he is a JW - but that wont last forever either (being a JW), his point of view, philosophy, etc depends on who he is fucking at the time. I just feel sorry for those that say they converted to vegetarianism because of that song. Shit song, trying to sound like Noel Gallagher, and doing a really bad job of it.

Glad some people dig it. And yes, I'm ultimately glad when Prince just goes for it. I like some songs that I'm sure make other people cringe. "What's 'non-sequitur' mean? Alot of people have Wedding Feast on the their list of his worst song, but I never really considered it a song. Always thought of it as more of a skit. Some people think I'm kinda cute
But that don't compute when it comes 2 Y-O-U.

All worse. I luv Grafitti Bridge, & Right The Wrong, & absolutely luv Animal Kingdom. Actually, thats y Prince is the best; so ridiculously prolific, & yet has hardly ever made a dud. Except..... WE MARCH Absolutely terrible!

I think Man in A Uniform is funky and fantasy-funfilled, but Wedding Feast is the only song of Prince's that I skip everytime and I have alot.

And thats why u have just been i like "right the wrong". i think it's a big, unfocused mess and i have no idea what anything has to do with anything in that song, but i think that's exactly why i like it.
