I was at the London Hammersmith shows and the two tunes that stood out for me were 'All the critics Love you (In London(New York)), and Strange Relationship'. They hit the funk bone in a big way. Call me a sentimental old git and a sucker for radio friendly pop fluff but 'Raspberry Berre' had me choking back the tears. Christ I must be getting really old!!

your highlight of the year ???

you really need some perspective
that is one of the most heartless soulless performances he played at the celebration - if not all year IMO

It seems it was only done to give the fans something different, his heart obviously wasn't in it at all,
it just sounds so boring and dead.

It was just done to give something to talk about and that it did, what a sad performance it really was.

He even commented I dont think we played this before,
(possibly because it sucks live ?) it was just to give you something special , but if he isnt gonna put his heart into it, it would have been better not to do it all than some half-assed pathetic attempt.

vibe ? the vibe of total and utter boredom ?

SAD

What the hell are you talking about?? In what reality do you live?!!

Did you even listen to the solo? At 2:46 so much raging joy explodes with such agressively spread passion that it sounds like Anakin waving his lightsaber around to get through every evil threat that's between him and Padmé! Like Prince is saying to everybody that doesn't know this song; "Fuck you, I wanna play this song live, 'cause I'm in my own house!".

After that he realizes that more and more people are feeling the song, so he says; "I always wanted a group of people to sing this with me" and when that's going great, he then decides to do another solo which sounds like he's jamming alone in his studio, because by now he sees that the fams feel the exact same vibe that he's feeling at that moment (except for you ofcourse, your loss).

And then he sings the chorus one last time. Só passionately that you can hear that the song really is hís baby, but stops 'cause he wants to share the last line with us. And agrees with our singing 'cause he sees whe got the message.

Now if you have to look up that last line, I'm probably wasting my time, but what the hell...

...I just described my highlight!

Take me with U
at Manchester was a real crowd pleaser.
Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!
woot!

Yes VINO!! mad

I know he played it elsewhere, I didn't expect to be at the ONLY show that he used that specific guitar!

I merely meant that it was the only time I saw him play it at the two gigs that I was at!!!

Also, just remembered how funky thankyoufalletinme was at the London soundcheck, with the weeman on bass!!!

Everytime I pop my little pill ... ... ... blunt
