Prince Fans That Moved To MPLS? how many of the fans here moved to MPLS at some point because of being a prince fan? | |

There was someone in chat once that told me she moved to MPL's to be closer to Prince and her husband knew about it. I forget who it was now, that was a couple of years ago PRINCE IS WATCHING U  " When an Artist Creates, whatever they create belongs to society"

Why someone would be stupid enough to do that is beyond me.
I have traveled extensively, and I could never live in a town where "the strippers don't strip" and the hottest club in town gets shut down by a dude sporting a "jheri curl". There is no such thing as ethnic food. I was served macaroni on a stick and a gyros on wheat bread. Enough said. I hate Minneapolis. Prince is one of the only great things to come from there. i have wanted 2 retire 2 mpls 4 a variety of reasons
1) my favorite football team plays there 2) my 2nd favorite baseball team plays there 3) i love the city 4) i love winter 5) i want 2 retire there man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81 | |

I hope not! That would make them stupid.
Bet there is some new recruits at the Kingdom Hall though. But again, I hope not! Not cause of Prince, but i know they're out there for sure. A religion MJ was sensible enough to leave after a lifetime, but one Prince was stupid enough to join! His choice though. I respect that of course! |

I'll admit it. I moved to Minneapolis primarily because Prince lived here. I grew up in a small town in Illinois and wanted to get away, plus I had a job lined up with Northwest Airlines. That was many, many years ago. As far as being a fan is concerned I would have to say I am one of the luckiest considering how many times I have seen him live and in hanging out type of situations, and not to mention all the unreleased music or music that we were listening to sometimes a year before it was ever released to the public. I also met many good friends that I still have to this day because we were all groupies. lol TRUE BLUE |
