I place this album in the same category as Come, the Symbol album and Parade - they're not his best IMHO, but they are definitely good 2nd tier Prince albums to me.

I absolutely love every single track! Arms of Orion is sappy, but as a pop song the arrangement and execution are absolutely flawless. Fav's for me are Vicki Waiting, Scandalous, Partyman and Trust, but, let's face it, that album is da bomb. At least to me.

I wanna be loved to the 9s, so let me cover your ass with this sheet, and baby, you better stay on the beat! Cause you know the Karma Sutra? I can rewrite it. But, with half as many words.

I like the remixes for the singles, The Future/Electric Chair,The Batmix, by Mark Moore and William Orbit, liked the Partyman and Scandalous maxis too, as for the album itself? not too keen on it, i consider this album the start of his slump into mediocrity for the following three years.

200 Balloons was the best outtake, IMHO.

200 Balloons was a "B" side release.

I do have to agree w/ a lot of folks on not liking Batdance @ all, but I do disagree on Arms of Orion - I like that song lol. Maybe I just like the way Sheena sings it. It is sappy tho. My favorite songs, however, are Vicki Waiting, Trust, Scandalous, & Electric Chair. wink

If anything gotta show love for the packaging of the Batman album. The project made for quite a few collectors items.
