I Finally Met A Fellow Prince Fan!...Apart From Me Mother I was out at the weekend and met a girl named susan. She was 22 (same age as me)She was flirting (unfortunatley im gay) But anyway the topic went from various things from Movies 2 Music. She asked me who my fave artist was 2 which I replied Prince..her face >  ...It turned out he was hers to! She was as gombsmacked as I was. We both spoke how its hard 2 find Prince fans especially 1s in are age-group. Id never met 1 in person before (apart from me mum) and neither had she. It was great,  We talked about all his songs (including more abscure 1s like White Mansion etc) She was very knowledgable even more than me! shes coming 2 mine tomorrow night and were gonna have a little purple party just the two of us. I know it sounds stupid but im ova the moon  Finally sum1 I can talk 2 about P and enjoy his songs with...

True fans are hard to find that's for sure. I found someone that told me she liked Prince's music I was so glad until she said "I really like his song about the birds" When doves cry that twas the last song she heard by him. I just gave up!  | |

That is so awesome optimus! I'm very happy for you. There is nothing like finding someone who's a much a Prince fan as you. Aside from the org and HQ, I finally started having "Prince friends" as I call them in 2004 when I was in California and then it carried over back at home here in NYC in 2006-2007 and it's been a blast ever since. I hope you meet more Prince fans that will become friends to you in the future optimus and I hope you have fun at the party tomorrow!

I still haven't met an honest Prince fan...in fact, I have bought tickets to concerts and couldn't find anyone to go with me... the first time being in 1988, my friends are all like I don't wanna go see that fruit... so I went alone and just figured that oh, well that'll give me a two seat space to dance  in...lol... it worked out uber cool though bcause I met some weasel in the music industry who got me into the aftershow at the Paladium!! That was the first time I actually met Prince.... ahhhhh, good times!!!  Life Sexy | |
