LotusFlow3ers.com - will there be a link 2 the old drm-server?

Hopefully our man will also reactivate the old (npgmusicclub) - drm-server. So we could finally listen to our files again that we once bought and are now only good for the paper-basket as they don't work anymore!

That would be one really great feature of the new "galaxy".

And maybe he even reactivates our old npgmusicclub-memberships (once bought for "lifetime" - you can remember)!

What you think?

I think it took too long. Most important thing, it's gonna happen.
But are U sure he's gonna reactivate the whole thing?

No - I am not sure at all - its my desperate hope - I wanna listen to my audio-files and see my video-files, that are protected!

Hey fellow Schluchtenscheißer! razz

It would be great, but the "Entirely New Galaxy" thing makes me feel like everything is going to be new lol
Added that he doesn't stick to the past at all and hates his fans way too much to do that for us!

Hopefully we will get something way better, so we can kinda "forget" about the old NPGMC (although it must have been cool to be a member back then; I can't remember, I was too young)!

You are right, that we should hope 2 get something better - but also the old NPGMC staff was just great - esp. some vids from concerts - and I really want to see them again.

Well, I'm from Mödling, south of Vienna (you are from Vienna, right? So you'll probably know Mödling). Not a Schlucht at all, is it? I wouldn't call myself a typical Austrian, considered that my mum is from slovakia anyway!

But still I will always have to identify myself as a Schluchtenscheißer! Since we were born here, it's our fate! lol

Uh, a really real Schluchtenscheißer, then! razz

But Innsbruck and Tirol overall is very nice, the first time I visited that place was a few months ago and I enjoyed it very much indeed! Still I think that after some time I would get crazy in the valleys and start craving for the flat, full-of-cars Vienna biggrin

altough we ar far off topic - that's what all the Flachländler think - but you can believe me: there is no better town to live than innsbruck - you really got 4 seasons, you go skiing in winter within minutes, you have about 20 minutes to italy, about 3 1/2 hours to the adriatic sea in summer - so friday2sunday at the sea is no problem, you have this wonderfull mountain views ..... and you have a city that offers (nearly) everything ... so nothing to complain about for me - although I really like to be in vienna - but after a few days it's enough - so quit pro quo I would say

I do agree that Innsbruck must be a lovely (though a bit expensive) place to live, but I'm just not used to mountains (although I love the song) and I overall feel better and rather free in a big, flat city. Innsbruck is beautiful, but after more than 2 weeks there I'd probably start feeling trapped. lol

Btw, do you know Lans?

and in 2010 he will release them all on cd again evillol

seriously though, it's stifling to see how many people seem to be expecting
the new site to offer them membershipaccess with old details and access to
material that has been offline for over 6 years.

don't any of these people have a car or a dvd player? do they only listen
to music and watch videofootage on their computer? what about back ups?

i'm far from a wizz at computerstuff and i burnt all those songs to cd's.
wth?

what's even more, anyone who knows how to work google can find 85% of all
the npgmc mp3's online somewhere or other.

so what the hell are people complaining about "boo hoo, i paid a fee and
i can't play my files anymore, prince owes me this and that blablabla".

wake up, prince don't owe you jack shit. in fact, half the org that were
never even members of the npgmc in the first place are listening to your
precious "lost" files right now. how do you think that works?

really, let's look forward for a change people instead of backwards. and
in the future instead of spending all your time in the religious chats
on prince's site perhaps you'd be better off actually making sure that
the stuff you pay for is backed up properly.

oh, netzverwalter, please note that i'm not trying to attack you
personally. in fact your question is legit but there are so many
people on the org lately that seem to be grossly concerned by an
array of old files that have nothing to do with the new site, i
find that very irritating. i know i know. that's my own stupid
problem but sometimes i just can't understand the way people on
here think and reason.

again, not directed at you but at the multitude of people asking
these questions over and over again.
