Your opinion about the the webdesigners site and references

I wonder how and why P choosed the company, that made his new site? From the site I learned that it was http://addisondesignassociates.com/ that is responsible for the new site.

Have a look at there website - in my opinion this is a pretty simple site and also the references are no big ones.

How did he choose them? For sure it could not be because of their stunning website or portfolio!

Your opinion?

from personal experience i have found that christians and jws tend to 'keep it in the family' odds on its someone who knows someone whos a jw - maybe the thinking of sharing the wealth to the little people, and also that because of religious conviction they are unlikely to leak info and be a general pest in the future as its all done for love - man!

i'm with you on rates. Their work looks serviceable if only that.

remember we are talking about an artist known to be sued by video companies, guitar makers, shoe makers etc etc. looking to be paid for their services.
so i guess when Prince says he is #1 at the bank, maybe its in NSF's wink i kid i kid

Yes, maybe, i have JW friends and they do a lot of work with their brothers from their Kingdom Halls. I don't know how many times one of my friends mentions that he uses so & so from his Kingdom Hall. Its kinda like networking when you go to those meetings.

In the US, NFS is a term for insufficient funds

i used to be a christian and have no confession now for a number of years and for myself i work 2gether with everyone - no matter what religion or colour - but in my family there are a few jw - and they really like to stay within their "brothers" (how they call it). I don't think its a christian habit (at least not here in austria). But your point maybe right!

In the UK its is born again christian habit, as someone else pointed out, meetings are kinda like networking, so many different people from different walks of life are able to share their talents, I am not a christian now but was in my youth.

In that regard, Christians and JWs have something in common with lots of Muslims, Jews, Catholics, Episcopalians, Mormons, Scientologists, Chinese, Indians, African-Americans, Latinos, Koreans, Germans, Texans, Canadians, Irish, etc. - - - did I miss anybody?

Their own website is very naff, but I'm guessing all the artwork and such on Prince's site is sourced elsewhere, so maybe their strength is in the backroom work of a website. The current splash page on Lotusflow3r.com looks great IMO, so no complaints there, of course it's just a picture and streaming audio, so let's judge the site when it goes live for real, hmmm.

I know quite a few good web agencies that do not have the time to look after their own site properly as well.

Anthony Malzone run one of the top design studios in the US. The site will be top notch if his past says anything.
Change it one more time..

Not really sure about the webdesigner or why Prince choose them, but I am really liking the looks of that Lavender And Lace site. They have some beautiful bedding. nod

Check out his site darkhavenstudios.com for an interesting look at his prior work. Tim Burton's use for Sweeney Todd is a good sign.
