In a recent post on Prince.Org, Ben (the Prince.Org guy) responded to someone discussing bootlegs on Prince.org with the following post:

...there is nothing actually illegal about discussing bootlegs, no matter what P's lawyers would have you believe.

So my response to Ben is...U the man Ben! But Ben, if you believe in what you said, and you know that's true, that why not have a "Old Concerts/Rehearsals/Studio Outtakes" Forum on Prince.org. I think that really would be excellent!! People could be free to talk about their old concert experiences, whether they had actually been at the concert or not. For example, someone might even say, "the best part of Prince's show at his Holland aftershow party on 8/18/88 was when he played 'People Without' in the dark." We do have every right to discuss these matters (it's called freedom of speech) and I'm sick of everyone being scared to say what they really want to say simply because of what Prince's lawyers try to scare you into thinking.

I am very interested to here what everyone else thinks about this proposed Forum so please respond. Thank you in advance for your time. And btw, Happy Thanksgiving everybody!!!
