My city's flower is the lotus flower. It's eveywhere...on most of the city signs, we have a lotus flower fountain in town, everyone's civic clubs have "lotus" in them. There's a ton of them that grow around here, so much, they take up whole bodies of water.
Here's a picture of the Monroe, MI DTE coal burning power plant, which is surrounded by lotus flowers during Summer: 
So, since Monroe, MI loves lotus flowers so much, I think it's only fitting that he have a show here. Our "Center for the Arts" seats like 300 or he could have the show in our high school auditorium! | |
