These types of threads are always funny because you see all these Prince fans come out with personal attacks. They act like their family name has been attacked.

That being said, Ja Rule really does suck. If Prince didn't let him use one of his songs, I can't blame him. I wouldn't want one of my creations being bastardized by being used in a superficial hip hop track.

The only reason Ja wanted to sample Prince in the first place was because 2Pac had sampled him numerous times, and very well too. In fact, an unreleased 'Pac cut sampled the same track (Pop Life) that Ja wanted clearance to use.

See, Prince doesn't mind when good artists sample him.

I liked his deep voice but damn, he got irrelevant quick. One beef with 50 Cent and that was it!
