The synth line in P Control is pretty crazy and experimental, but still it sounds commercial and so does the crazy chorus.

Joint 2 Joint, definitely.

Sometimes It Snows In April, I feel in love with that sus chord in the chorus, so exceptional and unexpected, but still amazingly beautiful.

Condition Of The Heart
Lovesexy has some experimental jams on too

Why not?

Yes, the first section of Condition just transports you to a nice place.
At least for me.
Had U from Chaos is pretty weird and dark.
Lovesexy, as Dave1992 said, as a whole project is pretty experimental. Maybe that's why alot of us around here dig it.

Hopefully, MPLSound will have some new ones to add to this list.
Fantasy is reality in the world today. But I'll keep hangin in there, that is the only way.

This is the trippiest...

What the hell does he mean by 'trolley cars'...?????

Oh my God here U are
Prettiest thing in life I've ever seen
Close my eyes what's it like,
What's it like inside your tamborine?

Oh my God, there I go
Falling in love with the face in a magazine (uh oh, not again)
All alone by myself
Me and I play my tamborine

Tamborine
Tamborine
Tamborine
Tamborine
Long days, lonely nights
Tamborine
Long days, lonely nights
Tamborine

I don't care 4 1 night stands
With trolley cars
That juggle 17
I just want 2 settle down and
Play around
My baby's tamborine

Tamborine what are U
Why are U the star of
All my dreams
(Star of all my dreams, are U a good tamborine)
Are U good, are U bad
Are U just unnecessary means

Tamborine

Tamborine
Tamborine
Trolley cars

Long days, lonely nights
2 bad we're not allowed 2 scream (yeah, yeah, too bad)
Guess that I'll stay at home
All alone and play my tamborine (aww)

Tamborine
Tamborine
Tamborine
Tamborine
The tamborine
Shut up already, damn.

Dream Factory is made of awesome. If I ever get the chance to go to a Prince gig, I'd die and go to heaven if he played this song.

I never thought I'd hear 'When Will We B Paid' live, but he did it in Oakland, CA.

He may surprise you . . .

I've never thought of Lovesexy as experimental . . .

What about "Same December?" as being experimental...The song and the video are both very good...it has a touch of a punk flavor, especially with the racey end.

I don't know. It's more prog than experimental. Me thinks. I didn't know he had a video for this song. sad
After reading LA article pt 2, I'm even more anxious to hear MPLSound. I just hope (There will never B) Another Like Me isn't on it but I think it is. I'm not crazy about that song and it's not "trippy or experimental". Oh well, there will be others. cool
