WHY would GAYS want to EVEN have ANY AFFILIATION with a RELIGION that says they are GOING TO HELL? If I was a GAY PERSON I would FIND a RELIGION that is NEUTRAL or DOESN"T OPENLY CONDEMN ME. PRINCE is in a RELIGION that DOES NOT ACCEPT HIS PRACTICES and HE has CHANGED his VIEWS for THEM? WHY? He could EASILY become a BUDDIST or some OTHER RELIGION and DONATE his MONEY and NOT HAVE NEGATIVE PUBLICITY. That is WHAT I WOULD DO! I would NEVER EMBRACE ANY RELIGION that HATES ON CERTAIN PEOPLE or GROUP! And LARRY GRAHAM was involved with SLY STONE and all the 60's MOVEMENT so he is and was into the FREE LOVE MOVEMENT. I find it pathetic that Prince has to qualify that he reads the Bible with his gay friends. Everything the guy has said toward homosexuality since he became a JW has been bigoted and draconian. Remember when he tried to demand that Wendy and Lisa renounce their homosexuality?

Ironically, he then writes a song about people being controlled by authority. It makes you wonder how sane he really is.

In the grand scheme of things, how much of this matters? Does this affect your day to day life? It's been said here a lot and it's true, opinions are opinions. Right or wrong, he has them and so do you and I. If it affects how you listen to his music, then that's you. It won't with me and those alledged statements would have been towards me. I'm moving on and getting ready for those 3 CD's.
