What are your thoughts on these 'promised' new albums? what songs or what style of music can we expect?

Scraping the bits and pieces together i think it could be something like this:

1) A Bria Valente-album
Written, composed, produced and Arranged by Prince. Probably songs with a smooth-soul vibe (hence the Sade reference)

2) Lotus Flower
The new 'rock' album 'people' were talking about, i think. I suspect Crimson and Glover, Wall of Berlin, The colonized mind and 4Ever will be on it.

3) MLPSOUND
The album most hard to predict. I mean: there is indeed an 'artist' called ENS using the same name for his projects, but he or she really sounds (as many others have mentioned) as 'just' a big Prince-fan addicted to using linn-drum loops and creating Prince-like songtitles.
Maybe on this album the new material will be, where John Blackwell was talking about: the minimalistic funk reminding him of the Controversy album.

I agree with you on that observation. It won't probably be a full-out rock album (which Prince album ever was?), but judging on the 4 songs aired on the radio there will be quite a lot of guitar on it, and an organic band-like sound.
I think it will be an album in the vein of Planet Earth (some ballads and mid-tempo songs too), but hopefully without downright modern R&B songs like Future Baby Mama and Mr. Goodnight that spoilt the stylistic 'flow' on the Planet Earth album.

By the way, i think MPLSOUND could as well mean: plastic funk on auto-pilot aka the Slaughterhouse / The Chocolate invasion. Lets hope not... lol
