sounds nice. I like the sleazy drums (which im addicted to in most anyones music) and its over all heavy Hendrix sound.

but the rest of the tracks sound so recycled and 90's, they just sound like old songs with different lyrics. Or old songs reworked a bit.

I never like to say anything negative about Prince. I love all of his stuff.He is a fantastic artist, but I was thinking the same on this one. It just had me curious. What's up with the wall of Berlin? He talks about it in another song, from Musicology??? Can't think clearly after all the buzz yesterday. I like it very much. I have to listen to this song again. I was thinking that it came around ya know the TRUTH songs cause it sounds like something that could have been either in CRYSTAL BALL or TRUTH. I'm thinking this was in his VAULT.

Funny...when I took my sis to the Xenophobia concerts, she wasn't familiar with any of the new TRC songs and mentioned to me that it seemed like a "cult" concert, only for the devoted....

This song has that vibe for me...

I like it more and more. Very cool to have some guitar, bass, drums, vox..music from Prince with no over production.

As for me, I didn't say I that the song was good or bad. I really think the crap he got for that corny line in 3121 bugged him so much he had to write a song with Berlin Wall in the title to redeem himself. Well he did in a big way! This song is very good fun song that has an incredible structure. It kinda has that Lolita vibe going but it's so much better. And the guitar ain't no Jimi but it's damn close in fact many publications are making the comparison. It's about time he finally gives us a guitar oriented CD!
