It´s one of those rare, good and very contemporary political songs that Prince releases from time to time.Some of his D&P material is like that, and I like it( Money Don´t Matter 2Nite is another one). I like how he tells the story from an jetpilot´s point of view and the music is great, too. It´s one of the few songs with Tony M where Tony´s "rapping" is not that unbearable. Still, it would be much better without him.
The slowed down outtake version is also nice.

The emotional weight of this contradition is heavy to say the least.

and it sure kicks Ronnie Talk To Russia as a polictical song

I like the version on "The Work" much better than the D & P version.

I dig this song, hence my signature I also like "The Work" version too.
