PRINCE @ TROUBERDOR, HOLLYWOOD JUST A LITTLE FYI,
I WAS AT THE CURE'S SECRET MYSPACE SHOW @ THE TROUBERDOR ON THE 13TH DEC AND I SAW PRINCE SITTING UP IN THE VIP BALCONY!! OTHER PEOPLE I SAW WERE: NICKY HILTON, LEONARDO DI CAPRIO, THE MADDEN BROS, NICOLE RICHIE, JARED LETO AND A HOST OF OTHER Z LISTERS. PRINCE LOOKED AS THOUGH HE WAS WITH SOME FEMALE COMPANY AND LEFT 3/4 OF THE WAY THROUGH!! DID NOT PUT HIM DOWN AS A GOTH ROCKER BUT HE APPRECIATES AMAZING ARTISTS AND MUSIC I GUESS.... ANOTHER INTERESTING FACT IS THAT I HEARD THE CURE'S PRODUCER/ENGINEER, KEITH UDDIN IS A BIG PRINCE FAN AND THATS WHY HE WAS THERE? WATCH THIS SPACE MAYBE? HAPPY HOLIDAYS. PK | |

robert smith may look like liz taylor dragged thru' a hedge, but the cure have definately had their moments - boys don't cry, lullaby, pictures of you - i remembr years ago there was talk of a hook up between P and morrisey, and that P dug the cocteau twins, so nothin surprises me ! | |

Good for him. I Love The Cure. They were on Jimmy Kimmel and Leno. I have their Tourbook from HEad On The Door from way back. I really love their CURE In ORANGE DVD and I always had a THING FOR LOVECATS, DISINTEGRATION , Boys Don't CRY,Just all their stuff. I wonder if he likes SIOUXSIE AND THE BANSHEES STUFF and CREATURES? Robert Smith was ORIGINALLY a GUITARIST with SIOUXSIE And The Banshees. Also The Cure were on JOOLS HOLLAND's Later I have it on Tape. [Edited 12/29/08 18:19pm] | |
