I remain in my seat as long as 10 minutes, just in case. It's paid off, several times.

I remember when my play cousin and I went to see Musicology, and he was quick to break out so we wouldn't get stuck in the parking lot.

I just looked at him and said, "Holmes ain't even done 'Purple Rain' yet, ya big dummy!"

I've left early in the past...hoping 2 catch Prince during his getaway.

If the lights pop on and roadies come out... the show's done.

I have been do several (as many as I have been able to that were within 4 hours driving distance from where I live)
And at every one of them, he has come back out!!!
I think the longest I waited was 35 minutes before he came back out...But when he did, he did his thang for another 35 minutes!!! Well worth it!

I did a few times. Once after Musicology, got to talk to John Blackwell outside for awhile.

Then in May 2007, got to chat with pretty much the whole band, mainly Shelby and the Twinz.

Closest I've gotten Prince was that UNBELIEVABLE Vegas aftershow when he frickin sat at our table for 5-10 minutes talking to a girl (seated at the front of our table).

That Vegas experience was so cool

Not that long maybe a few min. More than one less than five.

It's always worth waiting if you can. I heard that on the first night at the 02 he came back again to a half filled arena, because everyone thought the concert had finished. I was there on the Last night, he must have come back about 6 times i lost count, but eventually when he did go the audience did'nt want to move, I would say it was still 3/4 full after the lights went up, Planet earth was playing over the PA and people were just sitting there, I would have stayed longer but I had an after show to go to.

Until the houselights come up and they start unplugging shit. I never leave until they've unplugged his mic and pedals.
