It´s one of those rare, good and very contemporary political songs that Prince releases from time to time. Some of his D&P material is like that, and I like it( Money Don´t Matter 2Nite is another one). I like how he tells the story from an jetpilot´s point of view and the music is great, too. It´s one of the few songs with Tony M where Tony´s "rapping" is not that unbearable. Still, it would be much better without him.
The slowed down outtake version is also nice. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

Live 4 Love is Prince's commet on Iraq I
or rather how as a nation America teach its children the message of Love and the ask those self same children to kill in Her name The emotional weight of this contradition is heavy to say the least. Soldiers are just people too and it sure kicks Ronnie Talk To Russia as a polictical song The right to free discussion is protected!!

I like the version on "The Work" much better than the D & P version. I abdicated the throne in Ithaca, but now I am...

I dig this song, hence my signature I also like "The Work" version too. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that
