"3121" for me. It was the last Prince album I truly enjoyed. "And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ

One Nite Alone: Solo Piano & Voice for me.
Like Somewhere Here On Earth most recently showed, Prince still has a knack for writing mature slow songs. There isn't a single weak song on the album, and there are even some stunners. Avalanche evokes Chopin and has thought provoking lyrics, U're Gonna C Me is lonely and sombre, and Arboretum is the most beautiful instrumental track he's ever recorded. The whole album is rife with atmosphere and beauty. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

Is there ever going to be a day when his rare stuff is properly reissued? | |
