Barnes & Noble Exclusive Prince Book

Has anyone purchased the Prince book by Jason Draper offered through Barnes & Noble? It's almost the same size as the 21 Nights book. Thoughts???

My apologies if this has already been covered elsewhere. Couldn't find another thread.

Hard to go wrong for 12 bucks.
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

I'm only half-way through, but I love the book. The author is pretty fair handed throughout. He doesn't write like his lips are on Prince's ass, but he doesn't write in a condescending manner like CJ either. He shows Prince in both a positive and negative light throughout--depending on what the topic warrants.

It's hard for me to read though because it really does show that Prince was a much bigger asshole in his younger years than I ever imagined.

Honestly I think from the preview on B&N it looks like a better book than 21 Nights! Great price too! Thanks for posting

My friend has thought so, so far.

In 21 Nights, so many of the best pictures were ruined by the center fold of the book. Also, there were so many NON PRINCE pictures in 21 Nights. lol

I went out and bought it at B&N. With the after-Christmas sale, I found it in the bargain bin at 50% off, so indeed it is only $12.50 and well worth it. It is fairly exhaustive and despite the rather hideous cover, nicely designed inside. It goes all the way up to the London residency/Planet Earth, so the only thing it is missing (and surpasses) is "21 Nights." It covers each album and film in pretty solid depth, but also gives a lot of attention to side projects, internet releases and shelved items. Highly recommended!

Shit! I bought my copy a couple weeks ago and paid full price. It must have only recently been moved to the bargain bin. It's still a good buy at full price though.

I got the book 4 Christmas.
I took a lot of pictures out and glued them to another book that I made..I kept pictures of everybody except a few people.

The book that I made that is raindrop shaped and opens towards me was just a rushed glue job for the sake of an idea, If I would have all of the pictures I need 2 work with, I would have a collector's item any Prince fan would definitely desire.

I do not like the cover or the title of this book..It may have had some interesting facts or tour dates or something, but I haven't a care about that writing. cool

It's a decent book. It's great looking with a textural cover and lots of colour pics throughout. It covers all the major related artists works, and goes upto Planet Earth/21 Nights.

There are quite a few spelling/grammatical mistakes though, and not particularly much insight, certainly nothing we haven't already seen from the Uptown books.

Very good looking, big coffee table book sized thing it is though. smile
