There is a whole new year coming up and I feel the people that are not satisfied with Prince and his music should just move on!. Most of you are stuck in the past anyway and are just waiting for Prince to go backwards like you obviously are and he just is never gonna do that!! So instead of hanging on around here and complaining you shoould just get off the motherfucking Prince train because as you can see it's Moving On!!

Ya know...I have 2 be honest about something also. One of my sons went out of his way 2 give me the book Prince's "Life&Times," 4 Christmas last night. I am a sensitive person in a unique way.
I never would have bought the book based on the cover. I think it's tacky. That is only my opinion...regardless of how it's jazzed up with fuzzy "Arrow" guitars.

Anyway I'm beating myself up last night and thinking, "How ungrateful," of me...I took Jesse aside and said...Jess, If u've got the receipt..U can take it back. He said..."Mom I don't have it."

So I have a confession 2 make....I cut out about 20 pictures and threw the book in the trash...I wouldn't even bring it into my house. And U know why? Because Prince is a new man 2 day...and 2 me...that's all old stuff. I was happy to keep some of the pictures...but I don't support every snap shot that can be thrown into a book out of literally thousands upon thousands that exist. ul bitch for doing such a thing

Prince's music satisfies me...and I love that Prince is who he is no matter how He got 2 today, or who he has loved along the way. I have parted with my own photographs and negatives in my life...and I didn't want them...I don't treat Prince's past any differently than I treat my own.

I can see a "Purple Rain," dedication book because of the intensity of the time...However...In my opinion...This..."life and Times," book, is old...very old.

So anyway...Consider this perspective....I've been around 30 years as a fan and an observer...Loving Prince through thick and thin...And I have the right, after learning exquisite taste...2 wish that garbage that relates 2 Prince...isn't on the shelf...

I cannot believe that you or anyone would be so abusive to their child.
You took a gift given with love, consideration and thoughtfulness and threw it in the trash??? How dare you??? How narrow of you not to see the beauty of that gift??? Have you thought of the damage you have done to your own childs psyche by discarding a gift of the heart??? I am not only stunned but sickened by your actions. You, my dear, need psychological help. This is way the hell overboard.
I don't care if your child is 6 yrs. old or 16 yrs. old or 66 yrs. old....you have emotional injured that child.... and on Christmas no less.... you are the reason Prince is weary of fanatics. It was just a freaking book. Couldn't you have thought that it was a culmination of what Prince is today??? The path he has led brought him to who he is now.
You should of cherished that book as a gift from the heart. Please apologize to your child and try to fix the damage you have done.

I also made Jesse a drum set out of fabric that included a drumstick from "Whitesnakes," drummer...

I taught Jesse how to make clay guitars and He recieved a 95..on his project 4 school.

We have a relationship. Since when are all family relations "Peaches and Cream?"

Discussing Prince's music is every fan's right, but those who are constantly complaining about it should move on.

I do have to correct you though: it is Prince himself who is living in the past and can't move on . . . we fans want him to evolve and mature.
