Charge 3.99 a song and wait about 8 months and then vanish the site and have the files to where you can't access them when the site vanishes.

I was fine paying the 13 bucks or whatever for Wendy & Lisa' download and psysical cd in the mail. Its easy and affordable.
At the moment you cant really do anything about people posting them for free anyway, so why worry about it. keep it simple, affordable and dont try an re-invent the wheel. If it is good, the word will spread quickly accross the web, and if it sucks likewise. Prince doesnt need the promotional effort that an indie band or new artist needs. Artwork wise, if he wants to spend money on it, then hire a really good artist and be done with it,but not whoever has done the last dozen or so, otherwise a simple handwritten cover by prince himself would be cool. | |

Prince will be paid 16 million to allow the US military to attach digital copies to cluster bombs that will be dropped on Afghanistan.
The bombs will be 50% duds leaving widespread destruction, but also many undamaged flash drives containing the album distributed across the countryside.
