$45.37 One Nite Alone LIVE shipped to your door :)

Prince's new One Nite Alone Live 3-CD set for here only $45.37! (That $45.37 price includes the shipping costs to the USA after the $10 coupon's applied.)

I feel kind of bad that the members that live in non-metropolitan cities where he didn't play (or they couldn't afford to go), and were promised different cds as part of the membership in the ONA tour book's liner notes instead are essentially paying $75 for the same set that non-members will pay $30 less to have. I guess for some folks, that it's probably worth the $30 just to have it 2 weeks before others. In this case however, it pays to be non-member.

Anyways, enjoy those savings lol

cduniverse.com has ONA Live for $39.17. Cheapest price I've seen.

A person in Alaska did not have to join in the first place. If I lived in Alaska and joined because I wanted front row concert tickets in my hometown, that's my risk. NOT Prince's fault. Do people even realize that they don't HAVE to join? The law didn't pass in Congress and the guns are not to our heads? If you joined the club hoping he'd play a show by you but didn't, that's on you. If all you cared about were good concert tix, you could have waited until a show was announced like A LOT of people did.

i've heard nothing but bad things about cduniverse customer service... amazon on the other hand... smile plus, the price will lower, and so will the $45.37 price - automatically.

this is just an early price... which is $15 cheaper than cdnow, amazon.com, & best buy.

orgnote me if you have any questions smile

Mmmm... something tells me that an Alaskan with half a brain isn't going to join and depend upon Prince to play One Nite Alone - in Juneau! anytime soon. (And if he did, Prince's lawyers are going to start asking questions pretty quickly if he suddenly discovers the same fan playing a bootlegged recording of the evening from his website. It's been known to happen before)

so you're saying that anyone that doesn't live in a major city shouldn't join the club? shouldn't be disappointed that prince went against what he said he was going to release in the tour booklet before the year was out and released something that is eventually going to cost non-members $30-$45 less?

and folks wonder why there are multiple threads on this site about folks being upset.

my point is that folks never learn. they'll hit the membership again next year, and the same threads by the same people will be up again.

some naive folks comments about bootlegs in the prince community continue to be hilarious. i've already had two offers by good friends to have a copy of the 3cd set made for me, but i believe in supporting prince still, regardless of his wanting to take that same money i've used to support him over the last 20 years to file a lawsuit against me. that's cool. the only person that benefited from that lawsuit was me'shell and prince's lawyer. the press made him look like an asshole, even though i was repeatedly quoted saying i would continue to support him...

it benefited me'shell in that it's raised the hits per day of www.freemyheart.com from 500 to 1000. it benefited his lawyer by not telling prince that my putting up links to poor quality songs that will never see the day light of day that it was doing nothing but helping him... prince's lawyer got paid, as did the person who served me, etc. those are the only people that benefited financially from the lawsuit, and the links being put up...

one must pick their battles. however, continuing to file lawsuits against your own fanbase that you have no chance in winning is kind of dumb... why not go after kazaa? why not go after the other file sharing services? because prince & his lawyer(s) have no chance in winning there either.

and finally, i've never complained about the lawsuit. in fact, i've always stood by my statement that i will continue to support prince by going to his concerts, and purchasing his records. period.

I would assume that if you live in Alaska you miss a lot of concerts and would not join the club with the expectation that Prince will come there. You may have to get off your lazy ass and travel to see him. Of course you could use common sense and not join the club. No one put a gun to anyone's head and forced them to join the club. I did not join because I was pretty sure he would put some of the music in the retail stores. He already has a deal with Best Buy and it keeps him in the public eye. As far as the discount price goes this is standard operating procedure in retailing and may be apart of the retail agreements Prince has signed.

Prince is a asshole to you because he was nice enough to send you a letter asking you to take down the songs before he sued you. I guess he was an asshole for settling the suit. You could have been destroyed finacialy while I am sure Prince's lawyer was paid with a discarded royalty check.

Lankford said "why not go after kazaa? why not go after the other file sharing services"

Because it is easier to go after your ass than a file sharing program and you cannot stop every single person from burning a cd just like you could not stop people from duplicating cassette tapes years ago.

In response to this I can only say this: Why should everything be penned down to how much money I save by not beeing a member. The membership is NOT ONLY ABOUT FOUR CD'S!!! It is a new way to connect to real music. Prince offers you a deal about joining his new era. Real music by real mucisians. SOUNDCHECKS, CONCERTS IN FRONT ROW, AFTERPARTIES, CELEBRATIONS, CD'S WITH GREAT MUSIC.

I was in front row right in front of Prince at one concert, on front row right in front of Prince's piano at another show. Could I experience Prince & The NPG live at a soundcheck if I wasn't a member??? NO!!! So what about 30 Fuc..ng USD. What I have experienced, I will remember for the rest of my life, I couldn't care less about the money, even though I'm a poor student!!

it's about 4 cds to those that couldn't afford the $125-150 tickets... 4 cds that were not only mentioned in the tourbook, but on his website as part of the benefit of joining.

front row? i was front row/center for seattle (including the soundcheck), and i was not a member.

and to those few sheep who still haven't gotten it through your thick heads, this thread is pointing out how to get the 3cd set for $45.37 and support prince.

As most of the "sheep" are members of the club they have already supported Prince. Why in creation do they need to order another set? And if it was not your intent to at least partially trash Prince and the Music Club by mentioning those poor members that live in non metroplitan cities, like myself, who couldn't afford to go to some big city, again broke college student probably shouldn't have been going but did four times and to the Celebration, then why even bring it up? I'm not gonna say you are trying to sway anyone but if ALL you wanted to do was say hey boys and girls here's a way to get the cd cheaper then you could have posted a very simple message to that effect. Call me whatever you like after this but it seems unnecessary to toss in the poor members mantra if all you wanted to do was support Prince by increasing his record sales.
