Another proof for a new album? Right now i am listening to the mp3's of the 4 new songs aired on the radio (please... don't ask.. )
And when listening to 4Ever i can hear that there is part of musical segue before the start of the song, a bit soundscape-like or maybe the end of a song that becomes for it on.. an album? Next to the 'report' that the 'new album' starts with a 4-music instrumental, i think this shows we can really expect a new Prince-cd in 2009.

By the way, off-topic, i definitely do NOT hear Michael B, Sonny T or John Blackwell on these new songs.
I am 90 percent sure those are Josh and Cora (or Prince himself) on drums and bass. Michaels drums are much more hard hitting and sober, Sonny's bass playing sounds much more 'fat' and urgent and allthough some parts of the drumplaying are rather flashy, that sure aint virtuoso Blackwell on drums.

Ooh... at the end of Wall of Berlin there starts a news soundscape or segue also
It seems Prince is using one of his 'old tricks' again (Lovesexy, Come, The Gold Experience..) lol [Edited 12/24/08 8:12am]

For your knowledge& your pleasure! Again, the Director of Indie 103 has heard the entire CD, the tracks had transitions. He explains that the album begins by four minutes and explosive instrumental intro & the song Crimson & Clover emerges from nowhere from this instrumental intro. He added that all the tracks are very "heavy" on guitar from beginning to end. That themselves have been surprised by this very spirit Rock and, to their enthusiasm, Prince has released four pieces. Prince said they have scheduled a series of concerts for the release of the CD. [Edited 12/24/08 8:56am]

Great ear! I am sure that is Prince on drums on "Wall of Berlin", at least. "He's a musician's musician..."
