Paranoid schizophrenic / Bipolar - Which is the genius we call Prince?

There is no doubt Prince Rogers Nelson is a genius. My question to you is based on his works, do you think he owns a mental condition...? One, or two, which causes him to be so mysterious and non-relational in a time were most Artists are up close and personal with their fans (the source of their income/ lifestyle), and unyielding (not able to find a suitable record deal that is willing to work with him, and not wanting his image copied/viwed without his -or his law team's- permission)...?

Understanding Bipolar Disorder - Symptoms

What Are the Symptoms?
The primary symptoms of bipolar disorder are dramatic and unpredictable mood swings. The illness has two (BI) strongly contrasting phases (polar).

1) bipolar mania or hypo-mania
euphoria or irritability
excessive talk; racing thoughts
inflated self-esteem
unusual energy; less need for sleep
impulsiveness, a reckless pursuit of gratification (shopping sprees, impetuous travel, more and sometimes promiscuous sex, high-risk business investments, fast driving)

2) bipolar depression/major depression
depressed mood and low self-esteem
low energy levels and apathy
sadness, loneliness, helplessness, guilt
slow speech, fatigue, and poor coordination
insomnia or oversleeping
poor concentration
lack of interest or pleasure in usual activities

Positive Symptoms of Schizophrenia

The term positive symptom is used to describe certain symptoms or sensations that people with schizophrenia may experience. These are called positive because they are symptoms that should not be there. The illness is adding these symptoms. Even though these are called positive symptoms, these symptoms are typically not very positive experiences. Positive symptoms are often easy to spot. They usually involve a loss of contact with reality.Positive symptoms of schizophrenia can include the following:

Hallucinations. A hallucination is something you see, hear, smell, or feel that is not real. "Voices" are the most common hallucination in schizophrenia. Sometimes the voices are threatening or critical. These voices can be very frightening.

Delusions. Delusions may cause you to believe things that are not true. For example, you might think that:
People are reading your thoughts or plotting against you
Others are secretly monitoring and threatening you
You can control other people's minds
These schizophrenic hallucinations and schizophrenic delusions may also make you feel fearful and withdrawn. They may affect your relationships with others.

Thought Disorder. People with schizophrenia may have a thought disorder or unusual thought processes that may show as:
Trouble organizing their thoughts
Garbled or hard-to-understand speech
"Thought blocking" a feeling that a thought was taken out of their head
A tendency to make up their own words that others may not understand

Disorders of Movement.
People with schizophrenia can also sometimes have disorders of movement such as:
Clumsiness
Involuntary (unintended) movements
Unusual mannerisms (for example, an unintended frown)
A tendency to repeat certain motions over and over
"Catatonia" (inability to move), which is less common

Negative Symptoms of Schizophrenia

Negative symptoms are those that occur when people with schizophrenia no longer have the ability to experience normal emotions or complete tasks that they previously could. These symptoms are called negative because a person’s normal skills have been subtracted or taken away by the illness.
These negative symptoms of schizophrenia may include the following:
Emotional flatness or being unable to experience normal feelings
Lack of pleasure in everyday life
Difficulty starting and completing tasks
Less frequent interaction with others

Cognitive Symptoms of Schizophrenia

In addition to positive and negative symptoms, some people with schizophrenia experience cognitive symptoms. People with these symptoms may have trouble:
Paying attention
Remembering things
Planning and organizing
Cognitive symptoms are not always easy to recognize as part of schizophrenia, but they can be very upsetting and they may interfere the most with leading a normal life.

I personally enjoy the unique and set apart characteristics of Lord.Funk.Master.Prince He is an inspiration to all Artists and the fact he chooses to not be scared is powerful and educational. How to you asses this information...?
