Trust me it was not to long ago that people on this board beat me down that Goggle was not making any money off of YOUTUBE therefore, the record companies were not entitled to any money.

I think a considerable portion of it is. But the point being missed - which I should've made clearer (plus, I've just re-read my previous post and what I meant to say is "the majority of what didn't sell is old back catalog stuff and not the stuff only made available for download this year")- is that those 13 million songs available for download are not just this years songs. Many of them have been available for years, they just didn't sell any copies this year.
