the solution 2 prince new music i just heard the 4 new tracks from prince and i like them all.now the problem is how does he get the new music out to the people without going through a major record label....
heres the solution,,,,,since the project is finished why not make a deal with clear channel radio, they own over 400 radio stations in the country, each track could go to stations playing urban, pop, rock etc im sure he'll probably pay some sort of money to clear channel but the net results is his music being out there to different genres...i know its a far-fetched idea but at least its different...

Just offer them for free DL and then tour. Touring is where the cash is.

I'm down with that idea. It would be great to see him work with the people who control the radio so that we can hear this new music on the radio again but one stumbling block is that he's been working with I think it's AEG or something like that for his concerts since Musicology and they seem to have been doing good my him so I can't see him leaving that organization. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Well that's one country sorted. Only another 200+ countries to go....

Because Clear Channel is the Devil. Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it. |

Just offer them for free DL and then tour. Touring is where the cash is. Last week I was talking 2 this guy who used to own his own record exchange store and he went out of business. I was surprised 2 hear him say that plenty of artists do not mind their music offered free over the internet. He said that it is only the larger acts that suffer and that touring and T-shirt sales is where the most money is generated. I can see that understanding. I was thinking about how movie theatres could run weekend concerts like Prince did with, "Muscicology," and the Regal Cinemas'. This way, a Jam Session could be in the theatres just as easy as a big promoted show. This can enhance the Cinema/Cafe Business....Especially if it is just light drinks in the theatre with tables. I wanted 2 open a Cinema/Cafe myself at one point...but the parking available wasn't worth the hassle. I've seen one of these Cinema/Cafe's in Virginia Beach as well as Knoxville...I'm sure they are around. This is also a way where Promotional items could arrive at the theatres 4 sales that day. I would believe it comes 2 the world sooner or later. This gives opening acts that are unknows...the opportunity 4 exposure and future revenue 2 support their musical dreams.
