Nobody seems to realise it's just a small taster before the full site is up and running.

Judging by the some of the comments being made there isn't too many mature adults. cool

Perhaps if more of his fans acted like "grown ass adults," Prince would treat them as such. shrug

Start acting like an adult and be patient! Haven't you read what those that have seen the finalized site have said?

on the negative side - I have felt this way for a while ... i have kids damnit !~ cant just "spur of the moment " drop 300.00 for a show that is tomorrow night .... cant do it ... NOR will i waste hours of my day just for an "updated website " etc ... neutral

on the positive side - since the internet came along ... and the "fan seating" thingy ... i have gotten much better seating .... usually ! cool wink

Part of being a grown-up - I mean really being a grown-up - is knowing and accepting the fact that you are never going to change another person. Especially one who doesn't give a rusty what you think (like Prince).

Let Prince be who he is - and accept it. "Cryptic bullshit" and all. Anyone who's been a fan for 25 years, as you claim, knows how he operates - and knows he is unlikely to change. Deal with it.

I think Whistler is right...looking at the site ...and reading what has been reviewed i have to agree...he's trying to educate the young music fan who known nothing about P apart from Dirty Mind...and ...Purple Rain.. cool

The rest of us by the cd
Da, Da, Da....Emancipation....Free..don't think I ain't..! London 21 Nights...Clap your hands...you know the rest..

I am pretty excited about the vibe of some of the new stuff. I guess we can be thankful that Prince is still around while so many other artists around him become redundant after an album or two.

I think it's ironic that he is going for the techological approach and then attacking technology and its users in the process.

jony, you have a great point. i understand Prince's ideas of making things beautiful and all but the cryptic elements are frustrating.
i mean, are expected to spend hours of our day on the website?
many of us just want the music.

keep it simple. having said all that i am looking forward to see what he has cooked up. maybe it will be worth it. i'm always open.

Look if there is one thing that I see that's missing with a lot of the "adults" in here is their sense of fun and humor with Prince nowadays, a lot of the things that many in here accuse Prince of losing himself. Why can't we just have fun with what we have and be excited about the new stuff that we know we are going to have? It's like we "have" to know the next steps and we "must" know his every move. If we knew all these things, it would become boring and knowing how a good portion of you guys operate, you'd bitch and moan like it was cool about what you'd know anyway. Patience must be used in this situation. It's the "adult" thing to do. wink

The way Prince releases the music he has created is entirely his business.

You don't obtain a right to have dates scheduled to your satisfaction just becuase you have bought his records in the past.

It's as simple as that, if we like it or not...
