it reminds me of "everywhere" but also of "lion of judah"
those 4 rock tracks all have a bit of a trc vibe to them. and that's a good thing imo. they sound organic and real. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps | |

P's vocal treatment of the songs are so much stronger than "Lion of Judah" All 4 of the new songs are much more meaty and masculine than those on Planet Earth. IMO thats what really seperates these. It also is in the same key as the Foo Fighters track he did from the Super Bowl, but I think it could also fit in between The Everlasting Now and Last December on TRC.

I'm loving it, but enough of the JW propoganda already! Forever is referring to the etnernal life in paradise on earth that them believe is waiting for them. That's the 'new world' that he refers to in the song.
Anyway, still a smashing track, as are all the other new ones. Loving them all.

Well anything that takes Prince back to the TRC days is a welcome because thats when he was in "beyond great" form, and his band was top notch, lately the band is not his strongest by far, he needs that TRC and ONA type feel back "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F | |

Honestly it sounds a little more like something off of the O+> album than TRC. There is a hint of that sound with a little Morning Papers and 7 with incredible layered vocals. Plus this has more of classic Prince elements than any of the others...IMO
Love it!! The greatest live performer of our times was is and always will be Prince.

This is such a beautiful song. It's a feel good song and I love the vibe on it. A great song indeed.  I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that | |
