i jsut hope lotus is truly rocking and mplsound is truly funky

Both most probably but i especially enjoy when prince just destroys with his guitar and we all know and love his funky somewhat 80ties sound so i believe well all like this.Lotusflow3r seems more interesting

Lotus Flower 4 sure!!! I've been waiting for a true rock CD from P for a longggg time. MPLSOUND just seems uninspired from the first track. Hoping I'm wrong in the end

i'll more than likely enjoy both , but from what i've heard, i'm guessing i might dig lotus flow3r more. i'm still not entirely for (there'll never b) another like me (i don't hate it though , but if it's all like this ), however i enjoy all the lotus flow3r tracks alot (4ever is the only one i'm about, but it's okay). but, we'll see

mplsound.....lotus flow3r will prolly sound like most of the stuff hes been doing lately(3121) which isnt bad, but i think mplsound will be a return to the synth pop sound of the 80s

my guess is that both albums will have songs in more than 1 style.
neither album will be purely rock or purely funk.

they'll be mixed efforts with one leaning more toward guitartracks
just like the gold experience and one leaning more toward funk and
weirdness just like come.

from what i've heard right now and from the approach he's taking
with both of these albums i'm thinking i'll probably end up liking
these releases more than anything else since 2003.

I'm kinda praying Lotus Flower will be a Big Raw Live sounding Album with songs along the lines of Colonized mind, Forever, & slow jams being in the style of Crimson and Clover rather than Bria's RnB Here I come...

I dont mind the funky stuff at all but he's been doing that for a while now...

I hope it's both. Whatever the case, I'm sure that even if I don't dig the CD's as a whole, there will be songs on there that I will play over and over again. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I will love both CD's.

There'll never b another like me sounds catchy and reminds me of the old days but it's got not magic. it's got now wow factor

Lotus Flower. The tracks played on Indie 103 are more than promising. Pure drums + bass + guitar. Great production. Powerful solos. Great details here and there. Wow. I just love these new tracks.
And when the Director of 103 explains the album kicks with a 4 minutes explosive instrumental tune followed by Crimson & Clover + that Dreamer is a killer rocker + that they have all been very enthusiastic about the cd...wel, well, well, it smells good.

On the opposite, Another one like me scares the shit out of me. Apart from a few short moments here and there, I find this track pretty average. Nothing new. Very npgmc era sounding.

There will be music for everyone's taste. That's for sure.

i know it's bad to judge an upcomming CD on the basis of 1 track BUT on the evidence so far MPLS sound could be a horrible throwback to the NPGMC 'High' tracks. The new track from it is 1 of the worst trax he has ever done, for me the true MPLS sound is all over the 1999 album. Lotus flower on the other hand already has enough for me to put a smile on my face.
