The Doctor’s office received a tip that a NEW song by the one n only Prince will debut today at noon on L.A.’s Indie Rock Station 103.1

They will play 3 brand new songs, (not sure if all 3 are by Prince or one by him and two other artists.) You, the listeners will decide what song gets put into rotation.


This announcement was made by Max Tolkoff, the programming director of indie 103.1 since Feb. 2007.

He even hit up a popular prince site prince.org and posted there.

You can listen to the new song at www.indie1031.fm.

Today at noon.

Prince showed up and played at a Coachella after-party for Indy and that may be how P and Jones met. Also, Jone does play P on his jukebox show from time to time.

One of the coolest things was when Jones phone interviewed Paul McArthy(sp?) and they spoke of recreating.

The station will break new songs though they've tightened up over the last two months.

This station got me listening to free radio again and gives my ipod a rest. In Los Angeles this is the only rock station that counts.

When choosing a format on the opening screen pick Mp3, this then will open up in your default Music Player, "iTunes-Windows" using their player tends to be a bit glitchy...
