The information you seek can be found on their website. Here, I'll even be nice and provide the relevant link : linky.
As for Prince having any involvement in it, who knows? Well... his business advisors (if he has such things) would probably know. But I doubt they'll share. Lemmy, Bowie, Prince, Leonard. RIP.

You're not alone. I've never heard of it, either. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

You're not alone. I've never heard of it, either. I hadn't either, but it wasn't difficult to find out what it is. It sounds like a great place, I hope it does re-open as promised next year. And it's now on my official list of places to visit on my 'around the USA for an unspecified amount of time in order to see all the interesting bits, some day, when I can afford it' tour. Lemmy, Bowie, Prince, Leonard. RIP.

Well, if the same outfit makes the food at the park as makes it in their restaurants, you might want to BYO. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. I've been there it's fun...It's just that there wasn't enough money coming into the park 2 supply the cost of it running. 4 a standard piece of property that can be upgraded at anytime with financial backing...It's a great place...especially 2 see a concert...They had some cute shows...The rides are good...I really liked this glow in the dark, 3D "Nights in White Satin," mellow ride. There are restaurants, and the largest "Gibson" guitar stands near a small lake, and at 10pm, they had a great fireworx show 2, "Bohemian Rhapsody." The one problem that could exist would be the length of time it took to get into the parking lot on a busy day...However, there is plenty of parking. Money was slim 4 everybody this past summer... It's not like they are gonna tear it down or anything...I didn't go on the "Led Zeppelin," rollercoaster...but everybody that did loved it. "The Lion Sleeps Tonight...

I had never heard of a Hard Rock Park before, just the restraunts. That place is HUGE. Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life. ~Berthold Auerbach

I forgot 2 mention that they had a roadie stunt show.
Being a biased person when it comes 2 that field...I was a little disappointed, however for a first summer concept it was a great act...It was based on ACDC's roadies an they used trampolines, and there was a guy wanting a roadie position running around with a remote control...messing up the stage, and folling around with pyrotechnics. Where I though it could have been better, is that they could have been building the stage in the performance...basically.... The thing is...that there is room 4 expansion.
