I am not sure if anyone brought this up yet or not..
but on Sunday 12/21 they are re playing that Tree House of
Horrors on the Simpson's when they poked fun of Prince..

I know myself I have missed things because they get lost in the
MANY posts that appear hour by hour..... and unless you have TONS of
time to just sit and sift through every subject and READ every thing
(cause some times stuff is mentioned in other posts) you might miss
something..

Gee, I thought that this topic was going to be about something important, like some tragedy in the world or even something interesting like how long you had to stand in line at Wal-mart for a Christmas gift!!! The Simpsons??? Now that is intellegent TV....who boy, lets put a re-run right up there as a priority to watch!!!

hate to tell you... but 85% of the stuff on this ORG is just
Misc. do dads... nothing of Importance.
and sorry.. but ALOT of people LOVE the Simpsons.
personally I don't... but my hubby does.... and he was the one
who saw it in the first place.....
AND I recall alot of folks being mad that they didn't know they
were gonna spoof Prince.....
So I am sure there are SOME who are glad to know....

HOWEVER~~~~~ with that being said.. we were watching TV
last night and a preview for the Simpsons came on.. and it
appeared that it might be their Xmas show....
I can't swear to this..... but the TV guide says "repeat of
Tree house of horrors".. so I guess you'll just have to
set the TIVO and VCR's and find out.

Sounds like this portion of the ORG is a group of very intelligent people. I guess I didn't realize how important a cartoon was to grown adults. My mistake..and FYI, my TIVO will not be set for the Simpsons, it will be set for something more intelligent like National Geographic or the History channel.

Even the average age viewers of the show are like 17-30.. (My

Your dad sounds like an awesome guy who likes to be educated. 17-30??? seems to me you are MUCH older than the average. Sit down with dad and get some history. Might change the way you feel about a cartoon, child show or not.

oh, and the Simpson's fact book....must be facinating reading. Kudos to your hubby for keeping up with true literary works!!! He sounds like a dream boat.

He graduated in the Top 10 of his High School.. Top 10 of College
and Top 20 in College..... He also has a Degree in Account
and Loans/business...
And he is smart as a whip, Knowledgable about Politics, History,
Science and Math.....

And yes.. HE finds the Simpsons and Enjoyable "laugh" from time to time..
So Please don't judge a book by its cover.....
