Darlin Nikki on the Purple Rain tour

I just saw a clip and was hyperventilating! The dancing was perfect and Prince looked like a sex god that blows his peers out of the water

is the purple rain tour available commercially? You know, I love Prince and have a lot of CD's though not even half of all, but I don't know what he's released commercially and what he hasn't released.

I don't think hmv carries it.

Most likely you will have to find it on Ebay.

Cool, I'd like 2 see that concert.
Maybe Prince can do a collection of concert footage someday...It would be nice to see pieces of the shows in succession. cool

I have that same VHS of Prince & The Revolution: Live.

Maybe that will be released on DVD this year for the 25th anniversary?

I'm a little grossed out by all those 12 year olds in the audience singing along. Buts its still tight as hell.

I'm more disturbed at 7 year olds singing along to sean kingston's beautiful girls when they sing "suicidal" This is a true story.

I always thought he copped out when the 'grind, grind' screaming part came, passing it to the crowd to scream it, a bit of a showmanship cop-out.
Though he makes up for it with Purple Rain further on.

I always wondered. Did he actually scream like that? Or did he do it once and it was just repeated over and over on the track...?

After seein & hearin his screams in his performance of "God", I conclude that he did actually scream like that.
