Either way, they're both stunning. I am talking about Prince's version...I have heard that Martika has an album with quite a few songs written by Prince that I haven't heard...However, I love the song, "Martika's kitchen." "Yellow," is the only Bootleg that I own, and I never knew that it was... The cd has only been 4 personal use. I really love everything from yellow...Of Prince's. Carmen's song...isn't terrible...but I don't like it...Her picture is cute on the cd...but as U can tell she hasn't been selling many albums lately. And that's okay...neither have I. The layers in Prince's version were ...inspired.
Gives me chills every time. Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind. | |

I agree; There is this whole string of outtakes/alternates that were done and surfaced in the early 90's which belong to Prince's ABSOLUTE BEST work in POP; Love Thy Will Be done, Open book, I wonder (!!!!), Spirit and Don't Say U love me. Great stuff which should indeed be released ! | |
