Debbie Allen Dance Academy-Prince and dancers??

Last nite I had the opportunity to attend the Fund Raising Event for Debbie Allen Dance Academy DADA. What a great production.
To see all these kids that most R able to take classes and being trained by
the donations of its benefactors is heart warming. James Ingram's music was pretty cool for this play called: Brothers of the Knight
Berry Gordy, Danzel Washington,Phylicia Rashad, Toni Braxton and many more were in attendance.

Following the performance this gentleman asked me if he could sit at our table,
What a nice man he was, to find out that it was Herbie Hancock! And Yes we did talk about Miles Davis...What a nite!

The kids were fabulous on stage...this event was worth every moment, especially the effort that Debbie Allen is throwing out in the universe to benefit and
pursue her dreams and the kids dreams and keep on dancing!
It makes U wonder, Y is Prince not helping for this type of cause instead of other types of dancers eek

Peace

^ not 2 mention he has done benefits for dance companies like arthur mitchell and the minnesota dance theatre..hello joffrey ballet anyone?
man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

Prince does alot of charity work and donations that we probably dont know about, I dont really think its any of our business to question what he spends his well earned $$$ on, ppl feel just because someone is a celebrity they must donate their time and money to various causes, he can use his time and money on whatever he chooses, he doesnt owe anyone anything
