Who do you like more on guitar prince or gary moore and why?
if you say prince can out play gary or gary could play guitar
better then prince ,don't just say that,
give us your reasons why you think like that.
my vote goes for prince because gary moore while have realy
good tehnique of playing guitar his choice
to play the blues but insert heavy metal clithces
in the genre just don't sound like the right choice.

when he plays the blues guitar he plays it great like in obvious choice "still got the blues"
when he plays hard rock he is great like in
"out in the fields" but fusion of blues and heavy metal guitar don't work for me.

when he played with b.b. king you could have seen limitations in gary's playing blues and trying to out play b.b. king.
i mean can somebody realy outplay b.b.king on guitar???

my vote goes to prince because he sounds very convincing
in the way he plays guitar he sucesffuly blends his inflluances
and gives 'em a prince touch.
he can also play diffrent styles of guitar so convincing that you would think it isn't the same guitar player.
his soloing under the jazz influance is
totaly diffrent then his rock playing.

You should have compared him to Jeff Beck. Now that is one mean player. Highly innovative. Far more so than Prince it could be argued.

I love them both but Gary is technically better. But I'd rather listen to P's music more than Gary's. I loved his 80's metal records but today they sound so dated. I can listen to "S.O.T.T" or "Dirty Mind" repeatedly and never get tired of them.

I wouldn't say that. Prince has shown time and time again that he can play as technically well as anyone including Moore. Prince's problem is that he's more a mimic than an original player. He wears his influences on his sleeves. I'd say he's more versatile a player than Moore who I've seen live a few times bt his playing lacks it's own identity. Moore's style has transcended his own influences.

Now I was supposed to compare the two from that video then I am going to have to got with Prince.
