I have only seen a couple of those...However, "The Superbowl," performance I enjoyed the most.

Knowing that Prince had come this far in his career and played for that large crowd was amazing...

I was nervous for Prince and the band in the Rain...but nobody could look cuter soaking wet.

Has to be the Purple Rain performance at the AMA's 1985....Stunning. And the superbowl 07...best half time performance ever.

love4oneanother... the 85 grammy appearance was the worst because the mic hit him in the head, if i'm not mistaken.. The 1987 mtv awards will always be his best live tv performance!!!

Anyway, my vote goes to: "Everlasting Now" on Leno 2002. Such a tight performance... and possibly his greatest ever band - John Blackwell, Sheila, Rhonda, Renato, Eric Leeds, Maceo, Greg Boyer... and of course, Prince.

without any doubt it was the Septimo Show from- I believe- Nov 1999!!!

for me...it's a close tie between the '94 VH1 Honors and Love 4 One ANother. I had just became a Prince fan in like 93 or summin', I remember becoming a fan then hearing him say no more live performing and whatnot and changing his name. So I was kinda miffed. Then he comes out with this performance that was such a 180 of . It blew me away. All the fools running around with clown hair, Mayte headbanging...the screams...it was awesome! That and Love 4 One Another which such turnarounds from what had been going on as I became a fan. The changes were as different as they were welcomed.
