Stop Whining and Do Something!

There is tons and tons of bitching and moaning going on around here about the NPG Music Club and paying 2 much for 2 little and blah blah blah blah blah. All eye gots 2 say is "Do Something About It!"

If you dont like it, boycott the NPG Music Club next year. Send a message and dont give in 2 Prince's system. eye didnt join, eye won't join and eye won't bitch about joining but the bottom line is, all this crying cry in a forum does nothing. Send your letters and let it be known that you are not satisfied and will not join again reguardless of the promises of a DVD or a suprise showing at your birthday party. cake

And please... just shut up about it here! stfu

Firstly, could you have at least posted this in the correct forum? (Thread currently in Prince: Music and More).

Actually, I think that the BEST way of making your point about the NPGMC is to post your complaints on the Org. Word of mouth is the best (or worst) advert for any organisation and the Org is the only place where you can be heard by other fans. Let's face it, the only reason that they wouldn't have any kind of forums on the official site is because they know damn well that they would get negative comments on it and there's no way that Prince or the NPGMC can cope with that.
Complaining direct to NPGMC doesn't seem to get people anywhere, so it seems that the best way of showing your grievance is to post here, on the Org. That way, other fans get to hear about the problems and only then, when less and less people join the club each year, will they actually start to realise that they're not managing to please all the members and hopefully might work towards creating a more satisfying experience (yeah, right!!!).
If you don't want to hear complaints about the NPGMC, then don't read the threads that are clearly going to be negative about the club.
Oh, and you can be damn sure that I won't be joining next year.

Shoobey doobey dooo.. smile heres what u can do..

1. Your Live Set arrives...are there new songs? is this an exclusive when its already in the record stores.. decide

2. If you feel the answer is NO,then you can write to NPGMC. Give them 4 business days to respond to short specific questions you may have, tell them if that they do not answer, you are going to write to the BBB and the press.

3. If NPGMC sends back an email that doesn't address your specific question, inquiry as to why they haven't answered and explain you are considering getting a refund.

4. If NPGMC doesn't answer at all, contact the hosting company of the website (as well as #3)

4. Email a copy of the letter to the BBB http://www.mnd.bbb.org

5. In 5 days you'll get a letter from the BBB.
5a Then you can contact your credit card company.
5b Contact the press about this matter if you want pressure on NPGMC to change things in year 3 at opinion@startribune.com

Then just enjoy the music music through other distribution channels wink No more headaches, fuss, no bitching, no more complaining.

*yawn*

And how many complaints do they have on file? For how many years?? Does Crystal Ball ring a bell?? 1-800-NEWFUNK???

You keep posting this as if the BBB is going to send thugs down to Paisley and whoop the money outta his ass. They're just going to log the complaint and go about their business. If you really think you have a case, and personally I don't, then find a lawyer and sue.

You kids don't need legal services, thugs or anything silly like that. Put the stick down. no no no!

NPG Records owns NewFunk and 5 other names including NPGMC.. and is quite a slippery wheel. And the BBB did mediate with NPGMC in year 1 to get them to fix the file/download problems. So a tip of the hat to them. Like I said, give it a try.

*yawn* stop it.. its contagious! razz

WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE???
Everyone seems to expect so much!!
All i want is good music when I turn on the stereo, good CDs through my door and the OPORTUNITY to CHOOSE to go to a concert in good seats.

I live in the UK and I went to this years celebrations - it was the most awesoome experience ever. My husband and I had never been away - it was the perfect chance.

I think a lot of you are a bit put out that you never made the extra effort to get there...
Maybe you're not the FAMS you think you are...

Think on it!

Until now I have kept only on reading those posts and gave little contribution, but I am still wondering how many times you girls&boys are repeating the same arguments again and again.

Question:

You were promised 4 CD's in a year. Will you get them?
You were promised special merchandise. Did you get it?
You were promised preferred seating and soundcheck. Did you get it, unless you were at a concert at all?
Was the soundcheck worth the "extra cost"?
Were the front rows worth the "extra cost"?
Was it nice to be inside the venue, while the other people were waiting outside while it was raining?

I think I have said this long ago, but you really should consider what other silly things you are buying for 100 US$ in a year / 8,33 US$ a month / 0,27 US$ a day. A lot, hmm?

So stop this f***ing threads and decide for yourself. Join or not join, it is up to you only!
But pls. do not come knockin' on my door and ask for the "we gonna make it funky" track from NPGMC...
flipped off

HA-HA! Good luck!

These people want Prince to be a Socialist..

These same people will pay WB $18 for 1 CD at a time..

[Oh no... Prince shouldn't make a profit..no...]

They feel that:

He should sell these CDS for $20 dollars

Allow these folks to share them over the net (To non-members who should purchase their copies in stores)

Like someone else said... People get drunk, drugged-up, and party for more than $100 a night! I bet these same people go to a funky, smoky bar a lose $50 a night!
