He's also been involved with 'steady girlfriends' for much of his life--Sheila E(though I don't honestly know the extent of that relationship at all), Mayte, Manuella, etc.

He's also now celebate.


I know that I've slept with enough women, and a few men, to approach a very high number of people (probably approaching 100 maybe? I really have no idea), and several of my friends have slept with 200 to 300 + by the time they were 30.

I just don't see Prince having approached those numbers.
Do any of the books written about him speculate on his relationships, or the numbers of them?


I know it's not low like Micheal Jackson (zero, unless you count fake marriages, convenient arrangements, and sex with boys), but it's also dawned on me that it's probably not high by today's standards either. The myth of Prince's sexual conquest/prowess I think is in his media persona, lyrics, and attitude towards sex.

I went on a date with a guy once who said that he was cruising down Santa Monica Blvd by the Record Plant in LA, which is where Prince has recorded before, and that a limo pulled up and the window rolls down and it was Prince offering him a ride and to drive around with him. He claims that Prince was making eyes at him and that it was an offer for sex.
