as i sit here thinking of prince

i have been in and out of his being since we were children
back and forth
yet not close enough cause i wouldn't allow him to be close
i couldn't at the times he wanted it cause it would not
have been right then


yet i am brought back and forth in his being and for the past 44 years
these are some of the characteristics i see and have learned from him....


he is gifted, intelligent, and fun, crazy, strange, and weird, stubborn,
mature, and yet immature, insecure, yet secure, and hard headed, controlling,
and manipulating, a pre-judger of others, respectful, and disrespectful,
ignorant, mean, and artistic, creative, destructive, and balanced, also
imbalanced, a thief, and greedy, frightened, plastic, and yet real, and
his head is so big he can barely carry it on his body, afraid of real
people, who show him honest, respect, love, and friendship, he has not
learned yet all people are not after his monies, or his penis


i have seen many kiss his butt, jump to whatever he says jump to, and
are looking like zip damned fools for him, no matter what he is only a
man, not a god, nor an angel, i see more shaton ( devil ) than i do
GOD in him


yet i guess i am one of those lost in space humans as well
cause i tried with all of my heart, mind, and soul to hate him,
stay away from him, marry other men, and i even moved out of this
country, i tried to have a life away from him, but i am always brought
back to his tacky, gifted, and crazy azz


some of us as humans learn to balance and some of us don't
but in some areas of life i am more balanced that he is
and he in other areas is more balanced than i am
is there a true ending to prince and me ,,,,, me and prince ?

cause the love i have for him hasn't stopped yet, i have tried
everything humanly possible and then some to try to stop it


don't i have a right to be with a loving, caring, and real man,
who is open minded, open hearted, and can learn, grow, care, and
share with me from the heart, mind, and soul as a man and woman can ?

bottom line life is short many don't stand up for what they truly feel,
