Funny thing about Howard the duck-soundtrack (prince related)

Well, the theme song sounds like a "Lets go crasy" rip-off too me:

The song "Im on my way" also has a "Melody cool"-vibe too it, only that this song was released 4 years before:

I only saw this movie for the first time last week. I rented it online - I was honestly expecting it to be so bad it's good, but I couldn't bear to watch it all the way through. It took me 3 days to finish it.

I loved George when i was a kid, But just like Prince he lost it big time.
The new Star Wars films are almost un-watchable

The new Indy movie YIKES! if i would compare that mess to Prince, that would be 90's Prince.

age & time sure does something to your brain, sensiblitlies and your inner quality control

The synthesizers and the pace of the song are really a bit reminiscent of Let´s Go Crazy. lol

This song is reminiscent of the 80's. If your going to compare this crap to "Let's Go Crazy" than how about comparing it to "Rock Lobster" or any uptempo new wave record.

LOL, you did better than I did. "Howard the Duck" and "Born on the Fourth of July" are the only two films I've ever walked out of.

Very interesting post! smile

There are obvious similarities. Especially the segment in the theme song from 2:27 to 2:38, that sounds eerily like Prince.

Also it sounds very 80s and I love that!
