What about the last part of The New Yorker article and the woman outside Paisley Park

Doesn't this say a lot about the fact that Prince's heart is in the right place?

New Yorker article excerpt:
“There was this woman. She used to come to Paisley Park and just sit outside on the swings,” he said. “So I went out there one day and I was, like, ‘Hey, all my friends in there say you’re a stalker. And that I should call the police. But I don’t want to do that, so why don’t you tell me what you want to happen. Why are you here? How do you want this to end?’ And she didn’t really have an answer for that. In the end, all she wanted was to be seen, for me to look at her. And she left and didn’t come back.”

i visited once, way back around the time of graffiti bridge. i was on a roadtrip to MPLS with a friend who was looking at art schools in the city, so we decided to swing by paisley while we were nearby.

we didn't get farther than the lobby, but the front desk people were very nice and let us poke our heads around as much as we wanted. i wouldn't call that "open", but they were very gracious with what they could allow us to do. shrug

You were in the lobby? I was out on the grounds (taking pics) not in the building.

I also peeked into the window. boxed There was no one there

i don't think we could take pics in the lobby, but we were allowed to poke around as long as we wanted. i think we sat on the paisley couch and talked among ourselves for a few minutes, then left. lol

I would think Prince did not want to call the cops as standard practice would dictate, but he wanted it to stop and so went out to "end" the trespassing in a kind way. twocents

During the Celebration we were all treated to a tour of Paisley Park... woot!

it is fanfuckingtastic!! nod

My friends and I were taking pix on those same swings and got caught boxed
and security wanted to take our camera and we were like... oh, hell no...
it was a really nice very expensive digital camera so they made us delete the pics we took. sad so, we were just really extra careful after that... wink

I can't see P doing this without some security guys with him.
