I had to trick my daughter into taking her flu shot in October. I feel sad I did that to her, she is such a good kid. The flu shot takes about a month to become active. Children recover very quickly when they are sick. Ask the doc about giving him the flu shot when he recovers, it is still not late and will help him during the winter.
