Red Head Step Child I re-watched the GMA performance last night....and DAMN! Red Head Stepchild is one KILLER ROCK song! I would LOVE prince to release this song...with HIM singing. I like Tamar and all but she seemed to be kinda screeching through that song. Either way I love the song! Am I alone? "not a fan"  yeah...ok | |

I was there to see that show - I would have Prince to have sang it instead of just play his guitar along to it.  | |

I was there to see that show - I would have Prince to have sang it instead of just play his guitar along to it. So was I!  part of the appeal of that song is his baby pink pants and easter egg blue shirt while he rips it up on guitar! he's just sooo frickin' cool in my eyes!"not a fan" yeah...ok | |

I got the Milk and Honey album yesterday and I'm actually surprised by how good it is. Red Head Stepchild is probably the most instantly good tune, but there are other nice things on there too. It reminds me a fair bit of Chrisette Michelle.
I was expecting a pseudo RnB sound, but most of it is pretty nicely done. I wish this had been released properly. x | |

the album version rocks as well... i still find it weird that shelby has been singing this song tho oh wait no it doesn't cause every song prince had tamar doing in 2006, shelby wound up doing man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81 | |
