Prince-Grammy Living Legend Award I realize that Prince is only 50, but does anyone know the process that he has to go through to get one? He surely deserves one Doesn't Stevie Wonder and MJ have one? I think we need to find out what it takes to get our Prince one

Basically, a bunch of stars were up singing We Are the World, and Prince as sucking on a lollipop yeah Quincy put a mike infront of prince but in exchange he offered Q a lick of his lollipop while everybody else was singing the song on stage and afterwards Q had a go at him back stage, saying he had "no class back then and no class now" P shouldn't have got on the stage in the first place if he had no intention of participating. i still think it's kind of amusing though, even if prince did act like a dick! EXACTLY! well like i said, he shouldn't have got up on the stage if that was the case. he'd have made more of a statement staying in his seat and why are you high fiving your own post? It's not like 4 the Tears in ur Eyes had Stevie and Bruce beating the shit out of each other in a vocal battle is it? u don't hear that every day! [Edited 11/27/08 16:06pm]

An award or acknowlegement is a kind thing 2 do, but if Prince knows through sites like this that there are some people that value his music over the years...I'm sure that makes Prince happy. "The Lion Sleeps Tonight...

Yeah but being a dickhead = Rock'n Roll I wish Prince was more a dickhead these days. He used to be a lot more obnoxious when he was younger. And wht he did to Q with his mike was so damn funny. I loved it. [Edited 11/28/08 4:47am]

I remember a quote from Quincy on a promo sheet for The Most Beautiful Girl In The World where he said was "as seductive as ever"
Sure he was acting a fool on stage at the AMA awards but I've no doubt Q respects Prince as a musician.

Um, what's so shocking about Michael having one? He is definitely a legend. Why some people feel the need for Michael & Prince to compete all the time, I have no idea. It's not a competition. Regardless if Mike had won this award or not, Prince deserves it simply because of how talented he is and how much he's achieved. I hope he gets one in the near future. mynameisnotsusan said: Sure he was acting a fool on stage at the AMA awards but I've no doubt Q respects Prince as a musician.
