She also incorprated a few bars of Billy Jean in her act on The Virgin tour. She was just paying tribute to those two artists etc. whom she greatly admired then . And those songs were simply jammin'. "Climb in my fur."

Not that Madonna is a great actress or anything, but the two of them together in such a bad movie would have really been depressing.

It would have been an interesting movie,to be sure.Could you imagine them singing "Love Song" to each other in the film (I'm assuming this would occur during a break-up scene)? "Are you wasting my time...are you just being kind?"

"Are you wasting my time...are you just being kind?" He didn't ask her to star in Graffiti Bridge - they were talking about doing a Broadway musical together, with Paula Abdul doing the coreography. The idea didn't come off and then Prince went to see Madonna in Speed The Plow, and gave her tape of some of the stuff they had been working on - and it went from there. I think the musical was going to be called The Dream Factory

I know about the Broadway musical Prince was planning in 1986,but I don't think he wanted Madonna to be a part of it.But I do know that he wanted Madonna for 'Graffiti Bridge'.I've seen the original early draft of this script and Madonna's character was named Ruby,if I'm not mistaken.Cat has also confirmed that Madonna was Prince's first choice.
In September 1987,Prince invited Maddy to Paisley Park where he showed her this early script and asked her to co-star.She called it "a piece of shit" and said that Prince was stupid. In a 1989 Rolling Stone interview, she mentioned that she and Prince had discussed a movie musical together but that she wasn't gonna do it.

I read in the paper a few years ago that madonna was one of princes conquests as it were. And that they wrote the love song together because they loved each other. Apparantly the article claimed madonna was insatiable and prince had to calm her down so he wasn't exhausted for his concerts... Probably a load of rubbish though... JaneyPoos used to be it... then they changed what it was. Now what I am isn't it and what is it is strange and frightening to me...

I see it the other way. Prince was one of Madonnas conquests She's definitely the man in that relationship. And that they wrote the love song together because they loved each other.
