"Here Eye Come" Instrumental?

The beautiful smoldering guitar on this song is fierce. I REALLY LOVE the groove. I'm seldom impressed with the singing ability of P's female proteges but the track is so good that it truly overcompensates for her weak vocals. That said, I can't imagine listening to an entire album of good music and so so vocals. I REALLY wish he would release an instrumental of "Here Eye Come."

I think in terms of vocals she's by far more impressing than Apples, Carmen or Mayte were confused

the complaining and bitching and moaning about the new music really
has reached an all time high/low recently.

oh my god how often can you beat a dead horse. can't we just make a
seperate sticky where all disgruntled people can go to vent their
frustration?

I'm not some disgruntled fan but this is what happens when you assume things, you make an a$$ out of yourself. I like HIS new music. And if you had taken the time to read and comprehend my post, you would have understood that overall I like "Here Eye Come". Why else would I wonder about an instrumental? However, Bria's vocals are weak and I couldn't imagine listening to a whole album of her. Period!

and that is exactly what i was talking about. do we need yet another thread
complaining about the prince protege vocals, in this case bria?

every other day there's a gazillion threads on here complaining about some
detail of any given song.

i did read your post and i understand what you're saying. and you do have
a point and certainly a right to post it but it's just getting tired when
you log on to this site and

oh fuck what the hell do i care anyway.

Dave, I agree that Bria sounds MUCH better than those you've named. I guess I would put her somewhere in the Tamar vicinity but in the larger scheme of things, it's the same recipe: Weak vocals over funky/soulful Prince music. sad

I agree that some people on here go overboard with negative comments and complaining, which is why I seldom even visit this site anymore. However, this is a discussion board reflective of the varied types of people in this world. Some people are querulous in their nature. That's life. We're not always going to agree with Prince or each other about him for that matter. That said, I don't fit into the category with the incessant gripers on here. I like Prince and am usually pleased with his music and career choices yet I am displeased with the trite recipe of his female proteges. They are usually weak vocalists singing over good Prince music. However, this thread was not about that. I just wondered if he'd release an instrumental of it like he has an instrumental of the other new song; "There'll Never B."

yeah i know, i'm just in a fowl mood today because i read one too many
complaints on here. so sorry for that.

but just think about it like this: all the protege material is a bonus
because he usually writes that stuff specifically for them or they are
songs he would never release himself anyway. so if "here i come" hadn't
been recorded by bria prince would probably never have released it by
himself.

nod I agree with you airbak!

The constant negativity on this site is too much, along with the rampant ignorance and wishy washy moderating, which is why I have resolved myself to lurking for new 411 more than posting. There are some intelligent discussions from time to time but they seem to get buried beneath the BS.

However, just because someone makes a inquiry about an instrumental version of a song does not mean that they are being negative for negativity's sake. Folks need to learn the difference before they profile a poster. I, too, think that this is a VERY tight track. I remember it from 3121.com. Bria's vocals aren't terrible but they aren't terrific either. I agree that she is in the Tamar vein. I think I liked three tracks off of the Tamar album, and it was because of the music, not the vocals.

I would love an instrumental of this song, just as I prefer the instrumental of "There'll Never B." So it is not about bashing Bria, because on that song I preferred the instrumental over Prince's vocals. So, when the site launches, it would be nice if there is an instrumental version available for download.
perfection is a fallacy of the imagination...
